The course.
Anaheim Hills Golf Course is a municipal 18-hole course tucked into the canyon hills above Anaheim. Par 71 across 6,229 yards, the course rolls through native oaks, sage, and chaparral with distant Saddleback Mountain on the eastern horizon. It's a real round of golf — proper length, real elevation, real shape — without the country-club aesthetics that don't fit our brand.
Premium without snobbish. Walkable by design. Fifteen minutes from where we built Double Pars.
The standing slot.
We hold one standing tee time every Saturday at Anaheim Hills — ~10 AM, morning cohort. Late enough that it doesn't feel like a 5 AM alarm, early enough to be done by 2 PM with the rest of your Saturday wide open. Pre-booked, no fight with the online booking system.
Walking or cart?
Walking is the default. Anaheim Hills allows walking and we think it's part of the round — four miles in the canyon at golden hour beats most things people do on Saturday morning. Carts are available at the course for an extra fee if you'd rather ride; arrange it at the clubhouse when you check in.
What to bring.
- Your clubs — or check "no clubs" on your application and we'll have a set waiting at the course, on us for the founding 50
- A card for the green fee (~$60–80 walking) and any extras at the clubhouse
- Walking shoes you'd trust for four miles
- A hat and sunscreen (canyon is exposed in spots)
- A light layer for cooler mornings (canyon gets cold before the sun hits)
- Water (clubhouse has refills mid-round)
How a Saturday looks.
You show up 30 minutes before tee time. Check in at the clubhouse, pay the green fee directly, grab a coffee, hit a few putts. The starter knows you're with Double Pars — they'll welcome you and point you to the first tee. You meet your three. You walk eighteen holes. The course takes about four hours.
After the round, we close out at the clubhouse — coffee or a beer depending on your mood. First drink's on us for founding members. The post-round hang is where most of the actual connection happens — the round is the setup, the bar is the payoff. Then your Saturday afternoon is yours.
If something comes up and you need to peel off after nine holes, that's fine. We booked eighteen so you're covered for the full round, but we built in the exit so no one's stuck.
Apply for Vol. I.
The first 50 founding members pick the option that fits — $29 per round (drop-in, no commitment) or $200/year locked for life (unlimited, 30-day money-back). First drink at the clubhouse on us. Card on file at apply, charged only when you accept a round. Applications take three minutes.
