Vol. I · Where we play · Coyote Hills

Coyote Hills, Fullerton.

Our Saturday afternoon standing slot. Payne Stewart design, sweeping LA-basin views, sunset light by the back nine, clubhouse bar after.

The course.

Coyote Hills was designed by Payne Stewart and Cal Olson and opened in 1996. It plays par 70 across 6,510 yards, winding through rolling Fullerton terrain with sweeping views of Los Angeles and the Orange County basin. Water comes into play on three holes — the 9th, 14th, and 18th — and the course is known for its dramatic elevation changes.

Premium without being snobbish, ten minutes from where we built Double Pars, and the kind of clubhouse that earns the post-round drink. That last part matters more than it sounds.

The standing slot.

We hold one standing tee time every Saturday at Coyote Hills — ~1 PM, afternoon cohort. Pre-booked, so members don't fight the online booking system or wonder if there'll be a round this weekend. The answer is yes, the answer is here, the answer is Saturday at 1.

Walking or cart?

Coyote Hills requires carts (course policy, for pace of play). The green fee includes your cart — no separate fee, no decision to make. If you'd rather walk, our Saturday morning slot at Anaheim Hills is the walking round.

What to bring.

How a Saturday looks.

You show up 30 minutes before tee time. Check in at the clubhouse, pay the green fee directly, grab a coffee, hit a few putts. The starter knows you're with Double Pars — they'll welcome you and point you to the first tee. You meet your three. You ride eighteen holes. The course takes about four hours.

After the round, we close out at the clubhouse bar. First drink's on us for founding members. The post-round hang is where most of the actual connection happens — golf is the setup, the bar is the payoff. Stay as long as you want.

If something comes up and you need to peel off after nine holes, that's fine. We booked eighteen so you're covered for the full round, but we built in the exit so no one's stuck.

Apply for Vol. I.

The first 50 founding members pick the option that fits — $29 per round (drop-in, no commitment) or $200/year locked for life (unlimited, 30-day money-back). First drink at the clubhouse on us. Card on file at apply, charged only when you accept a round. Applications take three minutes.
